Enterprise Architect
A leading European provider of services to rail operators, manufacturers, and local authorities, Akiem offers its 100 customers in 22 European countries a fleet of over 760 locomotives and 42 passenger vehicles, as well as solutions covering the entire rolling stock value chain.
Akiem runs a comprehensive, certified Entity in Charge of Maintenance (ECM) industrial ecosystem built around a pan-European network of workshops and extensive inventories of spare parts for the maintenance of the rolling stock supplied to its customers.
Key responsabilities
Enterprise Architecture Strategy
Define and drive the enterprise architecture vision and roadmap aligned with business priorities
Design target architectures (applications, data, integrations, infrastructure)
Ensure alignment between business transformation and technology foundations
Support key decisions on platforms, integrations and scalability
Architecture Governance & Design Authority
Set up and animate Architecture Review Board / Design Authority
Define principles, standards and validation processes
Review solution designs and ensure compliance with architecture guidelines
Identify risks (technical debt, scalability, interoperability, cybersecurity)
Business & Transformation Partnership
Partner with business and IT stakeholders to translate needs into scalable solutions
Support strategic transformation and digital initiatives
Contribute to roadmap sequencing and transition planning
Integration & Data Architecture
Contribute to integration strategy and API governance
Ensure alignment with data governance objectives
Structure application and data flows across the organization
Support cloud and hybrid architecture discussions
Technology Risk & Governance
Contribute to IT governance and risk management
Support architecture documentation and audit readiness
Participate in cybersecurity-by-design and resilience discussions
Support vendor governance from a technology coherence perspective
Profile
Experience
10+ years in IT architecture (Enterprise / Solution Architect)
Experience in complex, transformation-driven environments
Industrial/international context is a plus

TOGAF, COBIT, data & cybersecurity
