Customer Contract Manager Central Europe Region (m/f/d)
Thanks to the local presence, Akiem challenge is to maintain and continue the development of its major position in the Central European market.
To support and strengthen our position in the Central European market, we are looking for a Customer Contract Manager Central Europe to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing Akiem’s leasing contracts for a dedicated customer portfolio across Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia.
You will ensure the successful implementation and lifecycle management of locomotive leasing contracts, from the pre-signature phase, including contract verification, through to the return and post-redelivery of the rolling stock to Akiem.
YOUR TASKS
• You manage locomotive leasing contracts throughout their full lifecycle, from pre-signature and contract verification to the return and post-redelivery of the rolling stock
• You monitor technical, financial, commercial, safety, and maintenance KPIs, ensuring contractual compliance, profitability, and positive leasing margins
• You act as the main point of contact for customers in full-service contracts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and leading all customer care topics
• You coordinate internal teams such as Sales, Maintenance, Legal, Finance, and Operations, as well as external service providers, workshops, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth service delivery
• You support contract adaptations, prepare quotations for extra works, manage customer balances, and resolve invoicing issues to secure contract performance and payments
• You prepare official customer communication, handle technical disputes and claims, and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements
• You organize locomotive deliveries, returns, logistics, replacement units, and driver training, ensuring seamless contract implementation and operational continuity
• You monitor performance indicators such as availability, reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction across various IT systems and conduct regular operational contract reviews with customers
• You define and follow up action plans for continuous improvement, identify process gaps, and implement corrective actions to enhance service quality and efficiency
• You provide regular reporting on contract performance and financial results while driving innovative solutions and improvements to strengthen customer loyalty and competitiveness
YOUR PROFILE
· You have successfully completed a degree in Engineering, Railway Engineering, Transportation Management, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical field
· You have several years of professional experience in Contract Management and ideally possess a strong understanding of railway operations, maintenance processes, and contract management in an international B2B environment
· You have strong organizational skills, work in a solution-oriented manner, and are used to working independently
· You possess strong analytical skills and are able to think and act with a strong commercial and economic mindset
· You stand out through your customer-oriented approach and a high level of empathy
· You are adaptable and enjoy working in an international environment
· Fluent Polish and English skills are required; additional language skills, especially Czech or Slovak, are considered a strong advantage
· Your flexibility, team spirit, and strong communication skills complete your profile
